Heritage Holders Project

The Heritage Holders Project is essential for safeguarding our invaluable historical photos and documents. Currently housed in unreliable student-grade binders that are deteriorating, this history risks permanent damage and possible loss. By transitioning to sturdy archival binders and page protectors with properly labeled spines, we will ensure their longevity and accessibility for future generations. This project not only preserves our heritage but also enhances our ability to share and celebrate our history with others.

The Depot Project

The society is in the process of procuring a location to rebuild the ILASCO RED DEPOT. The entirety of this project will rely on donations and, hopefully, a grant. We currently do not have an estimated date of ground breaking or completion.

Continued Education

We rely solely on donations & volunteers to continue our legacy.

Monument Upkeep

The society spends roughly $1000.00 annually to maintain the monuments & replace the Flags. This does not count any incidentals or vandalism repairs/replacements.

Annual Gatherings

A possible annual gathering is in the works if our budget will allow.

Christmas 2025-2027

Our Christmas in ILASCO celebration is in conjunction with the Historic Hannibal Marketing Council (HHMC) Church Tour. We are raising funds to have a Christmas light display that we are super excited about! Thanks to a very special friend of ILASCO, we have the funds for our 2025 display.

Mowing & Landscaping

Annually the society spends roughly $2700.00 to keep Ilasco looking nice. This does not include any acts of God that require clean up, repair or replacement.
